A lot of people like Ray Peat, and most paleo diet authors say that omega 6 causes inflammation and that you should avoid polyunsaturated fats because they go rancid quickly. Their alternative? Eat lots of butter and steak! Their weak science is based on high temperature heated OILS only. Then they lump healthy sources of fat like whole nuts and seeds together with the deep fried oils and say all polyunsaturated fats are bad to scare you into eating more artery clogging saturated animal fats, and try to convince you that saturated fat is ok. It's not.
